COMP offers spray dryers with Rotary disc atomizers for producing fine, free of product COMP has built 54 rotary atomizer spray dryers from 5 kg – 15000 kg/hr. We offer high quality products like closed loop spray dryer, multi stage spray dryers with integ at the most competitive prices.

Application:

  • A high speed rotating disc is used for atomizing the liquid feed.
  • The disc throws the liquid outward or tangentially at high velocities forming fine droplets / mist.
  • Instant drying takes place in contact with hot air forming free flowing dry powder. Disc designs include straight /curved vanes, pin wheels, multilayer discs in diameters of 60 mm, 100 mm, 160 mm, 250 mm & 350 mm for different capacities.
  • For high temperature applications special bearing cooling arrangements are provided.

Spray dryers used for drying products that are thermoplastic in nature due to their sensitivity to heat are supplemented with a rotating Air Broom arrangement inside the drying chamber. In COMP rotary disc atomization spray dryers, a wheel or disc rotating at high speed is used for atomizing the liquid feed. The liquid is distributed centrally on the wheel/disc/cup.
